It's been more than a decade since Mega Man was last seen on the TV, and he is finally making his return with a 26 episode long series.
Dentsu Entertainment USA have partnered up with Man of Action Entertainment, creators of Ben 10, Ultimate Spiderman, Marvel's Avengers Assemble, and Disney's Big Hero 6, to write and produce the series based of Capcom's video game series.
"The 1990s Mega Man TV series was cool and different than other series targeted at kids during that time," said Rouleau. "It featured great action, but also brought the laughs. Mega Man is a character that is even more relevant for today’s kids and we are really looking forward to creating something new that still respects the long tradition of the character."
Interestingly enough, Mega Man fans have been pushing for a new game for years now, only to see him make an apearance in Super Smash Bros and a few collectible items.
So hopefully the series will be the final push head honchos need to release a new Mega Man game.
